OzUke is a joint project of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO), the peak body for the Ukrainian Australian community, and the Centre for United Actions (CUA), a leading civic initiative in Ukraine.

Leaders from the AFUO and CUA form the governance group of the forum organising committee, and they are: Stefan Romaniw OAM, President of the AFUO; Oleh Rybachuk, Head of CUA; Inna Borzylo, CEO CUA, and; Pete Shmigel, Special Project Director AFUO.

The Australia-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce – through its Ukraine-based President, Dr Petro Matiaszek – is a key supporter of the forum series. The AUCC will be formally launched in Australia at the Melbourne forum, together with an unprecedented trade and investment analysis currently being conducted by the AUCC.

The AUCC is strongly assisting the development of its business-related program. This includes the organisation by Gennady Kravets, a forum organising committee member, of a business and stakeholder delegation from Ukraine to Melbourne to participate in the forum and otherwise pursue opportunities.

OzUke is a not-for-profit event and any surplus, if generated, will be donated to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal. To learn more about the Ukraine Crisis Appeal, click here.
